About Us

RockieSue Fordham (nee Daffern) wears all kinds of caps and hats.  She is an author, a public speaker, a teacher, a pianist, a church musician, a housewife, a pastor's wife, and a mother of four children:
Jacob, Daniel, Mary, and Caleb.

RockieSue graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 1985.  She and her husband, Dr. Aubry Lane Fordham, were home missionaries in Florida through the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board from 1985-1989.  Lane received his Master of Arts in Religion and Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX in 1984, and his Doctorate of Ministry from Immanuel Baptist Seminary in Sharpsburg, GA in 1987.  They founded three churches during that period.  In May of 1998 they moved to Mt. Juliet, TN where they continued in the ministry, with Lane as senior pastor of Green Hill Baptist Church and RockieSue teaching, among many other things.

RockieSue currently conducts teacher training classes for both adult and children teachers.  She started teaching early, for at the age of twelve she received Child Evangelism Teacher Training.

RockieSue's parents, Charles and Wilma Daffern, enjoy their country life in Colorado.  Wilma is a retired teacher trainer for Child Evangelism Fellowship and author.  Charles and Wilma have a wonderful story of tragedy and triumph and a desperate desire to reach children for Christ.  Wilma shares this story in a wonderful book, Hidden In My Heart.  (www.hiddeninmyheart.info)
